The staff at night enjoys each other’s company with little consideration for the patients trying to sleep. Or at least give her time to adjust to the idea. There should be a female taking a women into the bathroom. After we left her the first night a huge man came to her bedside to bring her to the bathroom. The bathroom floor looks like it was never disinfected. Upon unpacking, I saw the place was filthy so I kept everything inside plastic bags. Only after we went to inquire did someone come in and calmly explain the process. She immediately got all ready eyed and upset. My poor mother in law felt like she was being admitted into a prison. While I understand the need for this, it was abrupt with no discussion or welcome. No one came to explain anything and then another nurse came in and put an alarm on the bed and told my Morger in law that this was to ensure you do not get out of the bed with out calling for assistance. The nurse on duty gave zero eye contact and had a very disgruntled expression as she moved the patient in bed B out of the room. Upon arrival, we were not greeted by anyone. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I pray we never need this type of facility again. When I called to speak with the social worker she seemed annoyed by my call and dumped my call. ChristinaR Upon arrival, we were not greeted by anyone.
